Qatium: Brand Evolution
Qatium already had a distinctive identity. But as the company evolved towards a more technological, AI-driven proposition, the brand needed to become simpler, clearer and easier to scale.
As the most senior brand designer on the team, I became the main point of reference for Qatium's brand. I led its evolution across digital, campaigns, content, events and internal communications, while making sure the identity remained coherent as the company grew.
I evolved the colour system, introduced simpler secondary visual elements, refined how the identity worked across digital experiences, and helped shape a more direct and approachable tone of voice.
The evolution also happened from within. I ran brand sessions with the marketing team and, at times, the wider company to understand how people perceived the brand, identify where it needed to go next, and turn those insights into concrete design decisions.
Those decisions became a living brand system: from the brand book and website to social content, video series, presentations, events and merchandise. I worked across these touchpoints to make sure the brand could adapt to different contexts without losing its character.
Rather than treating the brand as something finished, I created a continuous process of listening, defining, applying and refining.
The result wasn’t a new brand. It was a brand that could keep moving.
