AI Creative Direction x Qatium

Qatium is an AI-powered technology designed to help water utilities of all sizes manage water more efficiently. As a fast-evolving product, we often lacked the footage and visual assets needed to communicate it across different scenarios, campaigns and touchpoints.

I developed an AI-assisted creative workflow for art direction and content production, leading the process from concept and moodboarding to image generation, video, animation and post-production. The goal was to make visual exploration and production faster, while maintaining creative control and consistency.

I worked with tools including Seedance, Nano Banana and Kling, alongside node-based workflows to optimise and streamline different stages of the generation process. I also redesigned the moodboarding process, using AI to quickly visualise and test specific concepts, environments and scenarios before production.

This workflow allowed us to create imagery and video for situations where no existing footage was available, and was later extended to sales materials, events and client presentations across the company.

Selected applications

Future Series Teaser
AI-generated video, characters and environments for a teaser introducing a future video series.

AI Brand Character
Reimagining Qatium’s brand mascot as a more disruptive and technological character, reflecting the brand’s evolution towards AI.

The Future of Water Operations
Visualising the future of water operations through AI-generated environments, imagery and video, creating scenarios that could not be captured through conventional filming.

Across these projects, I combined AI-generated imagery and video with art direction, motion design, editing and post-production, establishing a more flexible and scalable creative process for the brand.
